Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and DaLinkz ("we", "us", "the service"). By creating a page or otherwise using DaLinkz you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What DaLinkz does

DaLinkz lets you enter a set of social media handles and publishes them on a single web page at a short, randomly generated link. Free pages are shown with advertising. Pro pages ($19.99/year) remove advertising and unlock the edit portal and additional customisation.

2. No account, and your portal password

We do not ask for an email address or create a traditional account. When you make a page we show you its link and a portal password once. You are responsible for storing them. If you lose your portal password we cannot recover it or your page, because we hold no other way to identify you as its owner.

3. Your content

  • Everything you put on a page - your display name, handles, links and any images - is public. Do not add anything you are not willing to publish.
  • You confirm you have the right to use and display the handles and content you add, and that they are yours or you are authorised to represent them.
  • You grant us the right to host, display and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the service.
  • You keep ownership of your content. Deleting your page removes it from the service.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use DaLinkz to:

  • impersonate another person, brand or organisation;
  • link to or promote unlawful, fraudulent, malicious or infringing material;
  • publish content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexual content involving minors;
  • distribute malware, run phishing or scams, or send spam that points at a DaLinkz page;
  • attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to the service.

If someone is using DaLinkz to impersonate you or your organisation, contact us and we will look into it.

5. Moderation

We may, at our discretion and without notice, remove a page, disable a link, refuse a custom link, or block access to the service where we believe these terms have been broken or where we are required to by law.

6. Payments

Pro is billed annually in advance. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and the page reverts to a free page. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

7. Data protection and automated processing

We keep the data we hold to a minimum: the public content of a page, a hashed portal password, a support PIN, and a view count (shown to you in the portal as a lifetime total and a 3-month daily trend, both aggregate only and never tied to an identifier or cookie). We do not ask for an email address, and we never sell your data.

Our marketing pages (the home, contact, terms and privacy pages) use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate visitor numbers. It loads only if you accept analytics cookies on the banner shown on your first visit; decline and none are set. Profile pages carry no analytics and set no cookies. The cookies, their lifetime and your choices are set out in our Privacy & Cookies notice.

Running the service relies on third-party providers who process data on our behalf under their own data-protection terms:

  • Cloudflare - CDN, TLS and the Turnstile bot check
  • Google - Google Analytics and Google Search Console

UK data protection law (UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, overseen by the Information Commissioner's Office) sets limits on how the above can be done, including how far certain steps may be automated. For that reason parts of the service that could otherwise run automatically, such as upgrading a page to Pro, are handled manually instead. We are not willing to block or geofence UK visitors to avoid this, so the same approach applies to everyone.

8. Availability

DaLinkz is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It is an early service and may change, break, or be discontinued. We do not guarantee that pages will be available without interruption or that data will never be lost, and you should keep your own copy of anything important.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months or the price of a one-year Pro subscription.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change and continued use of the service after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Contact
