Stats explained
Your portal's Overview shows how your page is doing: how many people visit, where they come from and which links they use. Every number is a simple total. We never track who your visitors are.
The numbers at the top
| Tile | What it means |
|---|---|
| All time views | Every view since your page was made. This is also the number visitors see if you show your view count. |
| Today's views | Views so far today. Days run on UTC (UK winter time), so "today" may start a few hours earlier or later than your midnight. |
| Avg. daily views | Your average over the last 30 days, or fewer if your page is newer than that. |
| Link clicks · 30 days | How many times visitors followed one of your links in the last 30 days, and what share of your views that is. |
View statistics
A chart of your daily views. It shows the last 30 days by default. Pick a From and To date to look at a different stretch, and the Top sources and Link clicks cards follow the same dates.
- A view is counted when someone opens your page in a browser. Link-preview fetches from chat apps aren't counted.
- The day-by-day breakdown goes back 3 months. Older days are deleted automatically, but they still count towards your all-time total.
- Hiding your view count under Appearance → Page stats only hides it from visitors. Views are still counted for you here.
Top sources
The websites your visitors came from, such as twitch.tv or instagram.com, as a daily total. We keep only the site's name, never the full address.
"Direct / unknown" means we couldn't tell. That happens when someone types your link, opens it from a bookmark, or taps it in an app that doesn't say where the visit came from. Many phone apps work this way, which is what tagged links fix.
Tagged links
Under Top sources there's a button for each social platform on your page. Each one copies a version of your link with a tag on the end, for example:
dalinkz.com/yourlink?r=instagram
Put the matching tagged link in your bio on that site. Visits from it are then counted under that site, even when the app hides where they came from. The tag doesn't change your page, and visitors see the same thing either way.
Link clicks
- A click is counted when a visitor follows one of your links off your page.
- Free pages see the total number of clicks.
- Pro pages see clicks for each link, so you know which ones people use.
- Like views, the daily click counts are kept for 3 months.
What we don't track
Your stats are built only from simple daily totals. We don't record:
- who your visitors are, or anything that could identify them;
- which visitor clicked which link;
- the full address of the page a visitor came from, only the site's name.
Your public page sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Privacy in plain English has more.
