Getting started
You can make a DaLinkz page in under a minute, with no account and no email. This guide takes you from nothing to a page you can share.
1. Make your page
- Go to the create form on the homepage.
- Pick a platform, such as Twitch, Instagram or TikTok, and type your handle. You don't need the
@. - Add a row for each of your other accounts. You can add more later.
- Press Generate my link.
Your page goes live straight away at a random link like dalinkz.com/aB3xY9. It starts with a random mix of styles so it doesn't look bare, and you can change all of it.
Why a random link? Random links stop names being claimed by accounts that are later abandoned, so good names stay free for people who use them. Pro pages can pick their own link, and free pages can ask us for one. See changing your link.
2. Save your password and PIN
After you press Generate, a box shows three things:
- Your link, which is your page's address.
- Your portal password, which you need to edit your page.
- Your support PIN, a 6-digit code that proves the page is yours when you contact us.
Your password is shown once. Copy it into a password manager or somewhere safe before you close the box. We don't have your email, so we can't send a reset link.
Lost it anyway? We can reset it if you have your support PIN. See account recovery.
3. Log in to the portal
Go to the portal and enter your link and your portal password. You can type just the end of your link (aB3xY9) or paste the whole thing.
The portal has these sections:
- Overview: your views, where visitors came from, link clicks and your referral link. See stats explained.
- Profile & links: your name, bio, photo, social handles and custom buttons. See the profile guide.
- Appearance: layout, colours, background, effects, fonts and more. See the appearance tour.
- Sharing: how your link looks when it's posted in a chat or a social post. See sharing and link previews.
- Marketing: a bio panel image and a live stream overlay. See streamer tools.
- Account & settings: publish or unpublish, your link, support PIN and password. See account and recovery.
- Store: request Pro or a badge. See Free vs Pro and the store.
4. Make it yours
A good first five minutes:
- Add a photo and a bio under Profile & links. The photo is a link to an image you host somewhere else. Images, video & music explains where to keep it.
- Pick a layout under Appearance. There are three, and all of them are free.
- Choose an accent colour and a background to set the mood.
- Press View live page on the Overview to see what visitors see.
5. Share your link
Put your link in the bio of every account you have. One link points people to all of them, and when you change something in the portal, every bio is up to date at once.
- Want to know which site your visitors came from? Use the tagged links on your Overview.
- Streaming? Add your bio panel and overlay.
- Want a nicer preview when your link is posted? Set it up under Sharing.
